I am the owner and designer of Jeans and a Tee.  Since I was a little girl growing up in Guyana, South America I've always loved clothing and the way it can transform an individual.  My personal style is dictated by my mood and as a result, I love clothing and accessories that allow me to be unique, versatile, fluid, and look beautiful.

JaaTee

Jeans and a Tee (JaaTee...pronounced jay-tee) was created in 2007 by Minkie.  JaaTee offers one collection annually, to customers.  The clothing and accessories created are versatile enough to be worn throughout the year and through any season. 

JaaTee is an online boutique, however, during the spring, summer, and fall JaaTee participates in numerous shopping (vending) events throughout New York City.

Current Inspiration

My current obssession is with all things vintage. So when I came across this original typerwriter from L.C.Smith & Bros., I had to have it!  As an added decor element for my new apt., it also served as 'the' inspiration for my current collection of vintage-look brass cuff bracelets.
